Sometimes, things just happen...

Things or people come together and things just happen. I met David a short time ago and we started chatting about music, the New Mexico experimental scene and improv. Being both from the East Coast - me from NJ, David from Philly, we have lots of common ground. When the topic of live sampling came up, we decided to see what was possible. We got together and created this album's worth of music in 2 sessions over a few weeks' time. All recorded live in the studio, no overdubs or editing...

Sometimes, things just happen...

David Forlano is a multi-disciplinary performance artist and visual artist. His performance and sound work began in Philadelphia, notably teaming with percussionist Toshi Makihara on many performances supporting dance and theater as well as their own collaborations in free improvisation. Relocating to Santa Fe in 2005 he took a 10 year break from performance followed by a renewed passion for collaboration in performance and sound.
